Program Learning Outcomes

- Demonstrate content and pedagogical knowledge necessary for successful performance in field settings
- Assess developmentally appropriate curriculum, methods and teaching practices.
- Design developmentally appropriate activities that adhere to industry standards.
- Apply oral and written communication skills and research practices to discuss information related to early childhood education issues and topics.
Completion Requirements
The certificate requires successful completion of a total of 12 semester credits. Students need to receive a grade of B or better in each course to receive the certificate. Students receiving a grade below a B would have to retake the course before credit would be given.
