307-11 - Submission and Assessment of Late Assignments Procedure
Procedure:
A student makes the request for late submission to faculty through the learning management system (LMS) or via USU email only.
Faculty respond within 24-48 hours whether the request is approved or denied.
If approved:
Assignments submitted 1-7 days late may receive a 10% deduction per day from the total possible points.
Assignments submitted eight (8) days or later may receive a 0% and may not be accepted for grading.
Exams, Quizzes, discussion question responses, and participation responses to peers will not be accepted for late grading.
Assignment submissions are limited to the boundaries of the course timeframe and will not be accepted for grading, including late grading, following midnight on the last day of the course.
