Policy: United States University defines its undergraduate program academic year as 24 semester credits, over the course of two semester terms at 12 credits per semester (to be considered attending full-time), completed over the course of two 16-week semesters for a total of 32 weeks of instructional time.

United States University defines its graduate program academic year as 12 semester credits, completed over the course of 32 weeks of instructional time. The semester terms are 16-weeks each and students enrolled for 6 credits per semester are considered attending full-time.

Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to outline the institution’s academic year definition.

Scope: This policy applies to all undergraduate and graduate programs.
