Emergency Modification to Student Teaching

Student teaching may be interrupted for a variety of reasons. Reasons could include

medical/health, death, pregnancy/birth, etc. If and when this happens Student Teachers must contact their University Supervisor and Cooperating Teacher as soon as possible. The College of Education team will work together to determine an appropriate solution. If necessary, Student Teachers may need to request a Leave of Absence. In case of a National/State emergency or situation beyond the school district’s control USU will follow state guidance.
