University Supervisor Observations

Secondary Level Placements

The University Supervisor will formally evaluate their assigned teacher credential candidate in their classroom assignments. The University Supervisor will conduct at least six (6) formal observations, in the two 8-week sessions.

Elementary Level Placements

The University Supervisor will formally evaluate their assigned teacher credential candidate in their classroom assignments. The University Supervisor will conduct at least six (3) formal observations, in the two 8-week sessions.

The required observation schedule listed is consistent with the program standards required by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC). However, based on the needs of the candidate, additional and informal observations may be made in order to provide necessary feedback, intervention strategies, and the overall coaching support that a teacher credential candidate may require.
