Policy: In accordance with federal, state, and university policies, United States University does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, height, weight, national origin, religion, age, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, physical or mental disability, medical condition as defined by law, or any basis prohibited by law. The University is committed to non-discrimination in its delivery of educational services and employment. In a continuing effort to enrich its academic environment and provide equal educational and employment opportunities, the University actively encourages applications from members of all groups.

Inappropriate conduct need not rise to the level of a violation of federal or state law to constitute a violation of this policy and to warrant disciplinary action/sanctions. Refer to the University Catalog on how to report alleged violations.

Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to establish a commitment by the university to diversity, equity, and inclusion without discrimination. 

Scope: This policy applies to all university employees, students, contractors, or agents of the university.
