Leave of Absence

Students are expected to maintain continuous enrollment in their program of study. A leave of absence (LOA) may be granted for jury duty, military reasons, medical reasons, significant academic issues or other extenuating circumstance as approved by the Office of the Registrar.

Students in their student teaching placement are expected to remain in their placement for the full 16 weeks without a break or leave of absence. If there are mitigating circumstances students are encourged to reach out the office of field experience as soon as possible.
