Teacher Performance Expectations (TPES) (Program Learning Outcomes)
There are seven Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs) within the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP). Each TPE includes a narrative that provides the context and intent of the TPE and a set of elements that identify key aspects of teaching performance, along with a narrative providing context for subject-specific pedagogy. All TPEs are considered equally important and valuable. For more information regarding TPEs 1-7, review the TPE 1-7 guide.
